A BULWELL man has been told he is going to prison after admitting possessing firearms and explosives.

Darren James (26), of Bancroft Street, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court and pleaded guilty to 13 charges, including possessing nitroglycerine for an unlawful pupose at a house on Central Avenue, Mapperley.

Other offences include burglary, possessing ammunition, two counts of possession of an air weapon contrary to restrictions placed on him and receiving stolen goods.
