Mum accused of baseball-bat attack

A 28-YEAR-old Hucknall mum attacked another woman with a baseball bat at a school, it has been alleged in court.

Claire Mitchell, of Belvoir Street, is accused of assault and possession of a weapon in a public place. She is said to have committed the offences outside the Hucknall National Primary School on Montague Road on Friday September 23.

Mitchell appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court to face charges of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

She has yet to enter pleas. Her case was adjourned to Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday March 27. Mitchell was granted unconditional bail.
