Nottinghamshire County Council urges drivers to have eyesight checked

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE County Council is urging road users to have their eyesight checked for free at local libraries.

The council has joined forces with Vision Express to offer free checks next week.

All road users - motorists, cyclists, motorcyclists or pedestrians - are being urged to take up the opportunity of the free check in a bid to improve safety on the county’s roads.

No booking is required for the sessions, which include one at Sutton library on Wednesday from 10am until 2pm.

Everyone who attends will receive a voucher from Vision Express offering a free full eye test, an MOT of their existing glasses and 10 per cent off any glasses subsequently bought.
