Police hunt car occupants following reports of Bulwell assault

POLICE want to speak to a motorist or passenger who may have been caught up in an altercation in Bulwell on Thursday morning.

Officers are looking to trace the occupants of a small black three-door car after a third-party report of an assault at around 8.20am.

The vehicle was seen on Bulwell Main Street and then a short time later in Hucknall Lane heading away from Bulwell - possibly turning left into Ludford Road, just past the Bulwell Academy.

No reports of any injuries have been received, but police are keen to speak to those travelling in the vehicle to make sure they are safe and well.

It is believed that the vehicle was being driven by a white man and that a white woman or girl was the passenger.

The occupants are believed to have had some sort of dispute or altercation that may have led to an assault.

Police are also trying to trace a female passerby that may have briefly intervened.
