SNOW WATCH: Nottinghamshire school closures - Friday 18th January 2013

WITH heavy snowfall across the region and more predicticted on Friday the following schools are closed:

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

Beech Hill School - Will be closed 18 January due to weather conditions and forecast.

Due to predicted heavy snow and potential transport issues Bracken Hill School will be closed to both pupils and staff on Friday 18 January 2013.

Carlton Central Infant & Nursery School will be closed Friday 18 January due to a boiler breakdown.

Carlton Digby Special School will be closed today to both pupils and staff because of hazardous weather conditions.

Due to Met office warnings of potential severe snow tomorrow, Fountaindale School will be closed for all pupils and staff on Friday 18 January. A decision about opening on Monday will be taken on Sunday evening.

Foxwood Foundation School & Technology College will be closed Friday 18 January to both staff and students due to bad weather conditions expected today.

Due to extreme weather forecast and continuing icy conditions Newark Orchard School will be closed on Friday 18 January to both staff and students.

Redgate Special School - Due to predicted heavy snow and potential transport issues will be closed to both pupils and staff on Friday 18 January 2013.

Due to predicted heavy snow and potential transport issues Yeoman Park School will be closed to both pupils and staff on Friday 18 January 2013.
