Students offers free treatment to Hucknall folk

A STUDENT of reflexology is offering free treatments to members of the Carers In Hucknall group.

“I need to perform 100 treatments as part of my training,” says Scarlet Moonchild, who lives on Annesley Road, Hucknall.

“I have chosen the Carers group because people in this category tend to be exceptionally stressed and reflexology can be of great benefit to them.”

Scarlet, who is conducting the sessions at her home, says: “Each person I treat is first required to have a full private and confidential consultation.

“This is essential to ascertain their suitability for treatment and it will take about 30 minutes.

“The treatments themselves can take between 45 and 60 minutes. They are normally carried out on the feet but may also focus on the hands.”

The treatments began on December 1 and will continue until June 30, with a maximum of six treatments per person, and they are by appointment only.

Scarlet is fully insured with the Federation of Holistic Therapists and is well qualified in aromatherapy, body massage, Indian head massage and reiki.

By working on specific points of the feet, reflexology improves circulation, cleanses the body of impurities and revitalises energy, which encourages the body to restore itself naturally to a healthy balance.

Additionally, it can bring soothing stress relief and relaxation to the mind, body and spirit.

Anyone with queries about reflexology treatment is welcome to phone Scarlet on 0785 8654 070.
