COULD you be the champion of the people on important health and social care issues?

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a chairman for HealthWatch Nottinghamshire – a new independent social enterprise voicing local views on healthcare.

Launching on 1st April, HealthWatch will provide information to the public and liaise with communities and groups, whilst influencing decision makers to improve services.

The role will be based in the voluntary sector, with expenses covered and up to £12,000 paid for the first year based on approximately three days’ work a week.

Applications must be submitted by 25th January, with interviews conducted on 1st February by an independent panel of public sector representatives and business professionals.
