Vote for your Ashfield heroes

ASHFIELD residents are being invited to nominate somebody they feel should be rewarded for their contribution to the community.

The council’s Annual Civic Award Ceremony which takes place on 26th April is a celebration of the people in the district who make a difference.

Awards are made to local businesses, community groups or individual citizens who have made a contribution to their community.

If you know anyone who is worthy of an award, complete the nomination form and return by 22nd February.

Ashfield District Council Chairman, Councillor Ken Knight said: “It is an honour to be part of these annual awards that celebrate the Ashfield Community.

“I hope that many people get involved and nominate someone they feel deserves to be recognised for their contributions to the district.”

Forms are available from the council offices main reception.
