A drug-dealer from Bulwell has been warned by a court that he could be sent to prison.
Jay Peacock (35), of Neston Drive, pleaded guilty to two charges when he appeared at Nottingham Crown Court this week.
Peacock admitted supplying cocaine to another person between Friday 1st June 2012 and Tuesday 10th December 2013. He also admitted possession of cocaine with intent to supply at Basford on Monday 9th December last year.
The case was adjourned until Thursday 31st July for the preparation of a pre-sentence report by probation officers.
But Judge John Pini QC told Peacock: “These are two serious offences, and the very likely, if not inevitable, sentence is custody.”
Richard Posner (defending) told the court that, since he was arrested in December, Peacock had been receiving treatment for his drug use and had been responding to rehabilitation.
