The final stage of a road safety programme is set to get underway tomorrow with improvements to the Bulwell High Road and Main Street junction.

The junction has been identified as an accident blackspot, with 18 accidents happening over the past seven years, 10 of which were due to traffic turning right from Main Street (south) into Main Street (north).

Now work is to get underway to improve road safety at the junction as part of a programme of road safety improvements which Nottingham City Council has implemented in Bulwell and Bulwell Forest over the past three years. The works are expected to continue for seven weeks.
