HUCKNALL’S United Reformed Church was a popular place to be last Saturday when it held its annual Christmas fair.
The Farleys Grove venue was full of visitors who went along to support the event and help raise funds for the church.
“It was very well supported and the church was packed on the day,” said minister the Rev Cliff Winfield.
“More than £1,000 was raised, which was wonderful.”
The church’s social group helped organise the event, which ran in conjunction with the Saturday lunchbox club.
There were many stalls on offer to attract visitors, including a tombola, raffle and balloon modelling, which kept those attending suitably entertained.
