A commemorative day to mark the 100th anniversary since the start of the First World War is being held in Skegby on Saturday.
The free event is taking place at Skegby Methodist Chapel and the Anchor Centre, on Mansfield Road, from 10am until 4pm.
People can attend the whole thing or drop in for part of it.
It will feature displays on the war, information and stories about local soldiers, craft activities related to the war and a sing-a-long of wartime songs.
The day will also finish with a Last Post ceremony.
A buffet lunch will be provided at a cost of £3.
