The hunt is on to find the very best among the area’s commerce and industry sectors, as we launch this year’s Chad Business Awards.
The awards recognise the innovation and dedication which local companies and entrepreneurs demonstrate day-in, day-out.
This year, the awards evening will be held once again at the John Fretwell Centre, where the 2014 winners will be revealed.
It’s easy to enter, just CLICK HERE and complete the online form.
Chad editor Phil Bramley said: “Business is the lifeblood of our communities, providing us with the jobs we need and the goods and services we want.
“There are some brilliant businessmen and women in our area, running some fantastic companies.
“We want to celebrate YOUR achievements and honour the great work firms are doing day in, day out and I’d encourage every local business to get involved and enter.”
Bosses thinking of taking part in the Chad business awards can pick up top tips on making an impact with their entries at a seminar taking place next month.
Pure Event Management will hold an interactive, information business awards workshop for anyone interested in entering the competition at Mansfield Manor on July 16.
Owner Lucinda White has run several award workshops across the UK and received 100 % positive feedback from the 200 plus businesses who have attended so far.
In 2013, Lucinda had a 72% success rate of the awards she has written and 69% of the awards she has critiqued have either been shortlisted or won.
The workshop will look at the benefits of entering business awards, how to ensure you are choosing the right category, what the judges are looking for, top tips for producing a creative and well-written award entry, how to maximise being nominated or winning, and a practical opportunity to start putting the theory into practice.
The event is FREE for any business, but places will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
