An award-winning Hucknall brewery is set to host its first ever beer festival, offering visitors the chance to have a pint in the very place real ale is brewed.
The Lincoln Green Brewing Company, at Units E4 and E5 Enterprise Park, Wigwam Lane, is hosting the festival on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th April.
Owner Anthony Hughes said: “We’re delighted to be opening the doors of Lincoln Green Brewing Company for our first ever beer festival.
“We’ll have real ales from both our own core range and guests from microbreweries near and far.
“We’re also planning a selection of real cider and a choice of red or white wine for those not keen on real ale, though we’ve plenty of opportunities to convert people to the fantastic variety of flavour in our nation’s favourite beverage.”
Hot food will be available on both days and there will be live music on Saturday night from Shinkicker, a collaboration between drummer Pete Pearson and husband and wife team Simon and Candy Holmes, who play Blues Rock songs by the likes of Hendrix, Cream, Rory Gallagher, together with toe-tapping favourites.
Anthony added: “The beer festival will be an opportunity to visit the home of Lincoln Green and see where our award-winning ales are brewed.
“It’s a unique location that’ll be worth the trip and is only a five-minute walk from the Butlers Hill Tram Stop or a 10-minute walk from Hucknall tram terminus.”
The brewery is located at the end of Wigwam Lane on the Enterprise Industrial Estate, in Units E4 and E5.
