Husband threatened to -cut wife’s throat’, court told

Have your say

A 54-year-old man threatened to slit his wife’s throat in a row over a broken washing-machine at their Bulwell home, a court heard today (Tuesday 12th August).

Paul Naylor, of Mulberry Gardens, also said he would “punch her lights out” and “swore on his kid’s life” that he would carry out his threats.

The arguments got so bad that Mrs Naylor eventually called the police, Bernadette McGurk, prosecuting, told Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
