Long delays after road closed due to house fire in Hucknall

The blaze was in the roof space of a semi-detached house on Watnall Road and involved solar panels.

Two crews from Stockhill and one from Hucknall were called at 1.15pm along with a duty officer.

Fire chiefs used four breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a positive ventilation fan to extinguish the blaze.

Delays are expected in the area.

Police and fire services are at the scene.

No one was injured.
