Kirkby Woodhouse Primary School pupil Samuel Brentnall and his mum with the help of the School Council, organised a ‘Wear it Blue’ Day last Friday to raise £500 for MPS Awareness Day.

Pupils at the school wore blue clothes and paid £1 each to the charity fund.

They also held an ice-cream day to raise the fantastic total.

MPS Awareness Day is a day for individuals and families worldwide who have been affected by MPS (Mucopolysaccharide- a genetic life limiting disease) and related diseases.

The UK charity provides professional support to those affected by MPS, research and raising awareness.
