Portland College can now count on the support of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as they progress towards their ambitious £2m fundraising campaign.
The specialist college are aiming to raise a whopping £2m to develop a new Inclusive Sports Academy on their Nottingham Road campus to boost the provision of disabled sports in the area.
John Hodgkinson, development manager of RBS Corporate, has pledged his support to Portland College’s appeal and has also recruited all local branch managers throughout Nottinghamshire to fundraise and support the College’s drive.
Throughout the year, RBS will be getting involved in a variety of events including cake baking, a charity cricket match and supporting Portland College events.
Andrea Hudson, college fundraiser, said: “Portland College are privileged to be working with the RBS, and are very grateful to John and his team for getting involved in our appeal. RBS are a highly respected business and their considerable support is a massive boost to our fundraising.”
