Schoolgirl knocked down outside Mansfield primary school

An eight-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being involved in an RTC outside a Mansfield primary school.

Police were called at around 8.45am this morning (Thursday 13th February) to the Wainwright Primary Academy on Harrop White Road in Mansfield.

They had received a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and an eight-year-old girl.

The girl had suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
