What’s happening in the courts:
Theft

David Gormley (55) of Laburnham Grove, Hucknall remanded on unconditional bail accused of stealing a Mercedes van.

Lyndsey Elsie Morgan (31) of Totnes Close, Hucknall was made the subject of a community order after indicating a plea of guilty to stealing cash, to the value of £100. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60, compensation of £41 and costs of £85. Also remanded on unconditional bail accused of threats.

David Gordon Fogg (29) of Limber Grove, Hucknall fined £83 and ordered to pay compensation of £77, a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £120 after changing his plea to guilty after being accused of stealing meat to the value of £100 from Tesco.

motoring

Michael Norman Ewart (27) of Merchant Street, Bulwell fined £60 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £40 after pleading guilty to driving a Suzuki motorbike on a restricted road at a speed exceeding 30mph.

Pawel Rezler (28) of Potters Hollow, Bulwell fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85 after it was proved in absence that he was a person driving a car that failed to comply with the indication given. Licence endorsed with three points.

Lee Michael Tomblin (20) of Minerva Street, Bulwell fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85 after it was proved in absence that he drove a motorbike on a road, namely the A611, otherwise in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class.

Lisa Marie Holloway (40) of Bernard Avenue, Hucknall fined £40 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and licence endorsed with three points for driving a motor vehicle on the A6097 near Lowdham at a speed exceeding 50mph in contravention of a Nottinghamshire County Council order.

Bryn Jones (56) of Leedale Avenue, Hucknall fined £40 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, compensation of £12.36 and costs of £85 after pleading guilty to driving a car without due care and attention.

Jason Cawthorne (27) of Longford Crescent, Bulwell fined £350 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85 for driving a car without the required insurance. Also pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

Stephen Michael Gee (45) of Park Drive, Hucknall fined £210 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £21 and costs of £85 for driving a vehicle on the M1 at a speed exceeding 50mph.

Michael Ian Lawrence (35) of Bridge End Avenue, Selston, admitted speeding in a BMW and was fined £430, told to pay £85 costs and a £43 surcharge, and was given six penalty points.

Michael Barry Hunt (30) of Blidworth Dale, Ravenshead, was found to have been driving without due care and attention and without a licence. He was fined £200, told to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge, and given four penalty points.

Russell Andrew Wright (34) of Highbury Hospital, Bulwell remanded on unconditional bail accused of assaulting police officers, damaging perspex glass in a marked police car, using threatening behaviour or words, and assaulting a male.

Christopher Johnston (34) of Broomhill Road, Hucknall remanded on bail accused of assault.

breach

Brett Riley (31) of Slaterford Road, Hucknall remanded on unconditional bail accused of entering Poundland, an action he was prohibited from doing by an anti-social behaviour order.

drink-driving

Jade Boyington (29) of Carlingford Road, Hucknall fined £165 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85 after pleading guilty to driving a car after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her breath, namely 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.

drugs

Andrew Boot (32) of Lime Tree Road, Hucknall remanded on bail accused of having in his possession two small wraps of diamorphine, a Class A controlled drug, and a small wrap of cocaine, a Class A controlled drug. He has indicated a plea of guilty to both charges.

miscellaneous

Cameron Gillies (23) of Beachley Barracks, Chepstow remanded on bail accused of trespass and theft at an address in Hucknall, dishonetly making off with the intention of avoiding paying of £66.11 for petrol, and using a vehicle in Sutton in Ashfield with no insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence.
