Bikers who attended Two Wheels' event raised more than 2,500 for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

A ‘ride-out’ of more than 200 bikers from Mansfield Woodhouse’s Two Wheel Centre raised £2,662.65 for the Lincs and Nottis Air Anbulance.

Participants were asked to donate £5 to take part in the trip to Willingham Woods, near Market Rasen, while staff sold raffle tickets to customers at 50 pence each.

“We were overwhelmed by the reponse and the turnout and I think 95 per cent of those were from the Mansfield area, which shows the generosity of local people,” said Two Wheels’ company secretary Jessica Scott.

“We had to use our overflow parking and our neighbours Spot On and Naaz also helped out, so it was a great effort all round.”
