Residents, businesses and community groups still have time to have their say on Nottinghamshire County Council’s budget plans.
The Budget Challenge consultation closes on Friday 17th January and so far more than 5,200 people have given their views on the proposals.
The council is being forced to cut £154m out of its budget over the next three years because of a reduction in Government grants.
They have already said there will be huge changes as the council looks to bridge the shortfall.
In total, 51 detailed budget proposals have been put forward for public comment, including 750 council job losses and a sweeping reduction in services.
To take part in the Budget Challenge consultation, visit www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/budget or pick up a booklet from a Nottinghamshire County Council-run library.
All views given during the consultation will be taken into consideration before the final budget is considered by full council on 27th February.
