Have your say

Tibshelf craftswoman Sue Godney has donated a handmade quilt to Nottingham Hospitals Charity to say thank you for the treatment being given to her husband Robert.

The quilt will be raffled off in aid of the Oncology Department at the City Hospital, which has been caring for Robert (64), since he was diagnosed with a carcinoid tumour on his pancreas, liver and spleen three years ago.

Sue (57) said: “I just felt I wanted to do a little something to help. If he wasn’t having the treatment he might not be here. We are really grateful to the NHS for what they do.”
