Women sought in connection with distraction theft

Police have released CCTV images of two women they want to speak to in connection with a distraction theft in Bolsover.

An 82 year-old woman was approached by two women in the Coop store, Town End, on 26th November between 10.30-11am when she was approached by two women.

One of the women spoke to ask for directions and showed her a map.

Shortly after, and while still in the shop, the victim found an envelope containing cash had been stolen from her handbag.

The women are described as having foreign accents, and one was wearing a scarf.
