The charity Macmillan will from next week be offering a free mobile support and information service for those suffering with cancer and their loved ones.
According to research by Macmillan Cancer Support, one in four people diagnosed with cancer in the UK will lack the support they need from family and friends during their treatment and recovery.
Helen Tuvey, service manager for the support service, said: “No one should face cancer alone but a service such as ours means support is available nearby.”
In 2012, the team saw 28,000 people across the North and the East Midlands.
On Monday 4th March, the bus will be visiting Mansfield Market Place between 10am and 4pm.
