A BULWELL man has been told he is going to prison after admitting possessing firearms and explosives.
Darren James (26), of Bancroft Street, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court and pleaded guilty to 13 charges, including possessing nitroglycerine for an unlawful pupose at a house on Central Avenue, Mapperley.
Other offences include burglary, possessing ammunition, two counts of possession of an air weapon contrary to restrictions placed on him and receiving stolen goods.
Discovery of the nitroglycerine sparked an evacuation of a primary school and nearby houses. James had been remanded in custody until sentencing on Friday March 30.
