Man arrested after Bestwood shooting

A man has been arrested after an 18-year-old was shot in a pub in Bestwood.

It happened at the Duke of Albans pub in Bestwood Drive at around 11pm on Saturday, February 10.

The teenager’s injuries were serious but he is now recovering well.

A 26-year-old man was taken into custody yesterday (Thursday, April 12) on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
