A HUCKNALL man who was tasered three times by police after wielding two kitchen knives in the street must wait to find out his punishment — after receiving rehabilitation treatment for a drink problem.
Nottingham Crown Court heard that Timothy Bradley (32), of Curtis Street, was found with the weapons in the early hours of Tuesday July 26 on Mansfield Road, Arnold.
At a previous hearing at Nottingham Magistrates Court, he pleaded guilty to possession of the knives and a public order offence. But when he was due before the Crown Court for sentencing, this couldn’t be completed because of his rehab appointment. His case was adjourned until Wednesday October 26.
The court heard from Judge Michael Stokes QC that until Bradley stopped drinking, nothing could be done.
