Staff at Mansfield’s Pure Gym are holding a 12-hour treadathon raising money for the Guy Francis Bone Cancer Research Fund on 23rd September.
Gym members are welcome to participate but non-members are also offered the opportunity on the day in exchange for a £5 donation.
This entitles them to use other facilities at the gym as well and all proceeds go to charity.
The charity challenge is being run to coincide with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. It is named in memory of a York man who died of the illness aged 23 after being diagnosed aged 17.
The event runs from 9am-9pm.
