Meden College welcomes international students

Meden College has welcomed several international exchange students for the 2013/14 academic year.

As part of the Interstudies scheme, 10 students have joined the sixth-form college in Market Warsop, taking the opportunity to study in English for between five and ten months. They are from various countries including Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic, and will be staying with families in the immediate area.

Giulia Celii, (17) arrived from central Italy to study psychology, applied science, product design and English literature.

She said: “I really like English culture. I think that learning languages is very important for my future career, and I really enjoy it here,” she said.

“It’s difficult learning in another language, but my classmates are very nice and make it a bit more simple for me to understand.”
