A MOBILE creche run by Bulwell Toy Library has been such a success it is looking to expand — and create much-needed new jobs.
Organisations are able to book the creche for a specific date and time.
For example, it might be running a training course for those on low incomes.
The creche vehicle can then cater on site for the children of those attending the course.
Steve Parkinson, project manager at the toy library, says plans to expand are cucial at a time when almost 28 people are fighting for every available job in Bulwell.
He said: “A lot of colleges and training providers are using the service and are really pleased with it.
“It looks as if we will be providing about double the number of mobile creche sessions from September, which is why we are keen to recruit new staff over the summer.”
