Mobile phone users warned of latest WhatsApp scam
Mobile phone users are being warned about the latest scam involving WhatsApp.
The new scam involves users being sent a message which states they need to make a payment to carry on using the app.
The scam message reads: “Your subscription has expired. To verify your account and purchase a lifetime subscription for just £0.99 simply tap on this link.”
People who receive this message should ignore and delete it.
