A WEEK-long series of workshops in Hucknall got the creative juices of local youngsters flowing during the school summer holidays.
The initiative was arranged independently by primary school teacher Charlotte Baldwin at the John Godber Centre on Ogle Street.
Children aged between seven and 12 enjoyed sewing, painting and designing and making their own stuffed monsters.
They also baked peppermint mice and built houses for them.
A play, entitled ‘Crime At The Museum’, was written by the children, who also made their own props before putting on a performance for parents at the end of the fun-filled week.
Charlotte said: “Everyone enjoyed it. I am planning to run a similar, two-day event at Christmas.”
