People in Hucknall and Bulwell who want to cycle to tram stops can now benefit from an extended Citycard Cycle scheme.
The Nottingham City Council scheme, launched last year, now includes Nottingham Express Transit (NET) Tram Park and Ride sites across the city.
A dedicated NET Cycle Hub is now open at Hucknall NET Park and Ride.
New cycle hubs are also located at Bulwell tram stop and Wilkinson Street and Phoenix Park NET Park & Rides.
The hubs are accessed by using a registered Citycard, and provide secure, covered cycle parking so people can lock up their bike before getting on a tram.
Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager, commented: “This is a fantastic initiative and we’re delighted that tram customers can now take advantage of the scheme.”
Citycard Cycle Hubs feature 24-hour access using a Citycard, CCTV monitoring, Citycard activated doors, cycle stands and security lighting
New Nottingham City Council leaflets containing useful information about the Citycard Cycle scheme and a map of hub and hire locations are available from the NET Travel Centre on King Street, Nottingham Tourism Centre off the Old Market Square and the Broadmarsh Travel Centre.
