Hide AdHucknall Heroes organiser, Coun Phil Rostance, said: “It’s great that Santa and Mrs Claus have been out and about around the town these past few days, it’s really put a smile on peoples faces.
"After speaking to Santa myself, I know that while he and Mrs Claus have been traveling around the town, they have been keeping socially distant from people when they met them, and have been washing their hands regularly, so they’ve been setting a really good example for us all.
“Because they have been doing so much for people across the town, visiting care homes, seeing youngsters, we thought that we’d show the married couple how valued they’ve been over the latest few days.
“From all the individuals, care homes, youngsters and the people of Hucknall, you are both Hucknall Heroes.
