Our latest PHOTO ALBUM MEMORIES picture dates back to 1945 and a street party at Belvoir Street to celebrate VJ Day (Victory in Japan).
This is a name chosen for the day on which Japan surrendered, effectively ending World War II after the USA had dropped atomic bombs.
Mrs Audrey Derbyshire, of Hartington Avenue, Hucknall, sent us this wonderful image filled with families commemorating a momentous occasion at the end of the war.
Why not dig out your old photo albums and join our weekly trip down memory lane?
