THE NATURAL world continues to provide inspiration for snappers around the Dispatch district keen to see their handywork showcased in our PICTURE OF THE WEEK feature.
Now Roy Brown, of Oakfield Road in Hucknall is cast into the spotlight with this shot of a seal at Donna Nook National Nature Reserve at Lincolnshire.
Roy says the site is ‘spectacular’ in November when it attracts as many as 4,000 common grey seals ranging from bulls and cows to newborn pups.
Roy, who is a keen photographer, took this shot on what he describes as his ‘battered’ second-hand Pentax DSLR camera.
Our thanks go to Roy. Now we would like more Dispatch readers to send us their pictures. They can be of absolutely anything. Just use your imagination.
n E-MAIL your images to email@example.com, with PICTURE OF THE WEEK in the subject field. Please remember to include background information to the photos, plus information about yourself, such as age, address, job, family, hobbies and interests.
