Prisoner accused of bank raid

A MAN who went missing while on a weekend-long release from prison has been arrested and charged with robbing a bank in Bulwell.

Eithan Teanby (pictured) failed to return to North Sea Camp open prison in Boston, Lincolnshire on Monday May 21.

He was finally caught in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of last Sunday morning (June 3).

He is alleged to have robbed the Halifax on Commercial Road, Bulwell on Wednesday last week (May 30).

Teanby (40) has also been charged with robbing East Common Lane post office in Scunthorpe on Monday May 21 and attempting to rob the Santander bank on Clumber Street, Nottingham on Tuesday last week (May 29). He is also charged with possession of a knife.
