Violence

Freddy Whaley (46) Victoria Street ,Mansfield. Admitted using threatening behaviour. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for six months, restraining order made, victim surcharge £80.

Cherie Boulton (34) of Annesley House Hospital, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman. She was discharged conditionally for 18 months and ordered to pay compensation of £100.

Justin David Gibbon (25) of Collier Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse. Assaulted a woman by beating and damaged a UPVC door valued at £50. Committed to prison for four months suspended for 18 months. Offence serious because of antecedent history. Ordered to pay compensation of £100.

Steven Rogert Caunt (36) of Dalesworth Road, Sutton.Ppleaded guilty to assaulting a man. He was given an unpaid work requirement for 120 hours within the next 12 months, ordered to pay compensation of £150, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Theft

Callum Anthony Muir Jackson (32) of Kelstedge Drive, Mansfield. Admitted receiving stolen goods belonging to Currys, PC World, valued at £144.94. Discharged conditionally for two years, victim surcharge of £15.

Ruta Petkute (27) of Walton Street , Sutton. Pleaded guilty to stealing items from Mansfield stores . Items valued at £36.87 from Boots, items worth £7.99 from TK Maxx, £5 worth of items from Primark and items worth £14.99 from Select. She was fined £220, with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £22.

Aaron James Bagley (22) of Caudwell Drive Mansfield, pleaded guilty. to stealing DVD box sets valued at £39.99, £39.99 and £69.99 respectively on three separate occasions from HMV. A community order was made to participate in a 19 day Thinking Skills requirement and an order for £59.98 compensation was made.

Drink Driving

Leanne Johnson (29) of Milton Street , Kirkby, Admitted having 79 mcgs of alcohol in 100 ml of breath while behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. Disqualification pending sentence, fined £200 with victim surcharge and costs of £85.

Shane Jubbie (27) of Shawcroft, Sutton. Ddrove a Vauxhall Astra with 107 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. Disqualified from driving for 24 months, a community order for 100 hours unpaid work, costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £60 was made.

Jake Sidebottom (19) of Lower Meadow Lane, Huthwaite. Admitted driving a Volkswagon Polo with 83 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was banned from driving for 12 months with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £20.

Stella Bingley (46) of Brake View, New Ollerton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis. She was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £110, with costs of £150 and victim surcharge of £20.

Julian Bright (29) of Leeming Lane North, Mansfield. Admitted driving a Honda Prelude with 59mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Bright was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay costs of £85 with a victim surcharge of £20.

Motoring

Marc James Gore (22) of Newark Way, Mansfield. Dangerous driving, failing to stop when directed by a policeman, driving without a license or insurance. Committed to Nottingham Crown Court for sentence on April 4.

Criminal damage

Andrew Shead (38) of The Green, Mansfield. Damaged a window and women’s underwear and flowers valued at £20. A community order was made for Shead to attend a Building Better Relationships course for 31 days. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £60.

Lee Michael Clowes (30) of The Twitchell, Sutton. Eamaged a CCTV camera. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £100.

Miscellaneous

Patrick Anthony Bust (42) of Mattley Avenue, Kirkby. Pleaded guilty to possessing class B drug amphetamine, class A drug diamorphine. He was remanded in custody until March 23 to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court.

Carl Thomas (40) of Laxton Avenue, Sutton. Threatened to cause criminal damage to a car. He was fined £180, with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £20.

Grant Richard Naylor (28) of Smiths Cottages, Mansfield. Used threatening behaviour towards a woman. Discharged conditionally for six months with costs of £100, and victim surcharge £15.
