BE safe and be seen. That’s the message to all road users in Hucknall and the rest of Nottinghamshire now the clocks have gone back and dark nights are starting to draw in.
Notts County Council is urging pedestrians, cyclists and drivers to make themselves visible during dark nights as summer time officially ends.
Youngsters are urged to wear flourescent and reflective clothes, while motorists are encouraged to make sure their cars have their headlights on. Cyclists should wear reflective clothing and fit lights to their bikes.
