The hunt is on to find this year’s Miss Mansfield and Sherwood Forest.
Organisers have begun the annual search to find the golden girl who will represent Mansfield and raise thousands of pounds for the charity of her choice
This year’s competition has been launched via social media website Facebook - with the grand final taking place at a glittering ceremony at the John Fretwell Centre at Sookholme on 11th October.
As well as walking away with the coveted title, the winner will get the chance to compete in the pretigious Miss England competition.
They will also follow in the footsteps of reigning Miss Mansfield and Sherwood Forest, Grace Turner who is currently Stateside in Mansfield, Ohio, for the the start of the Miss Ohio pageant.
Grace is raising money for the Little Princess Trust and has taken part in a number challenges and events to help the organisation, which provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
