Improving the business opportunities as well as attracting more shoppers and residents to the town is a mission undertaken by the I Love Hucknall town team.

In their latest meeting, held on Wednesday night, the group of residents and business owners came together to continue formulating not only the group but their future plans to breathe more life in to the town.

The group have since launched a website which features a survey for the townsfolk to have their say.

“The survey is available on our website now for people to take part and express their views,” said chairman Chris Thorne. “I’d like to thank Stuart Pocklington for setting up the site, which is still being developed but it has given us a great starting place.”

The survey will also be available in hard copy format for people to fill in on the market on Thursday 27th June and Friday 5th July.

“The aim is to get as many people’s views and ideas as possible so we can act on them,” added Chris.

It was also suggested at the meeting that the survey link could be put on the district school’s newsletters too.

The next meeting is on Wednesday 17th July 6.15pm at Broomhill Road Children’s Centre.
