STAFF at the Hucknall High Street branch of Specsavers are putting their best foot forward to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
For they are wearing pedometers in-store to measure the distance they travel. For 50p, customers can estimate the total and the person who comes closest will win a spa day for two worth £129.
A charity raffle is also running until Saturday June 30.
A host of prizes have been donated from local companies and tickets are on sale now.
To boost fundraising further, the store will be donating £1 to the BHF from every pair of glasses it sells in the week from Sunday until a week tomorrow.
Store director Vicki Bainbridge said: “The BHF is such an important charity and we are dedicated to supporting it throughout June.”
