A BODYBUILDING PE teacher based at a Bulwell school has stretched every sinew in her toned body to land a prestigious national title.
At the Royal Centre in Nottingham, Caroline ‘Cee’ Oliver (pictured) took the fitness category by storm in the UK Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (UKBFF) Championships.
With a routine designed to show off her sculptured physique, she beat off many rivals to take the trophy.
“I am delighted to have to have won the title,” said 36-year-old Cee, who teaches at Bulwell Academy on Hucknall Lane.
“Competing at such a high level helps to raise the aspirations of my students when it comes to competitive sports.”
Cee, who is married to Ricky and has an eight-year-old son, Rio, lives in Arnold.
She previously taught PE at the former Henry Mellish Comprehensive School before it amalgamated with the ex-River Leen Comprehensive to become the Academy.
She only took up bodybuilding in mid-2008 after being inspired to do so by her cousin, bodybuilder Denton Wilson.
Her ultimate ambition is to become the best in the world in her category and weight division.
She is so dedicated that she trains at least three times a week after teaching at the Academy and lives her life to a strict regime, with a calorie-controlled diet packed with protein and full of fish and vegetables.
At the UKBFF event, there were a total of 19 categories ranging from heavyweight men to bikini section for women and wheelchair-bound bodybuilders.
In Cee’s fitness category, she had to strike a series of poses that best showcased her muscle definition.
