Thoresby Colliery: visitor attraction
May I suggest that Thoresby Colliery be considered as a visitors pit with surface and underground conducted tours, plus leaving the canteen open for refreshments etc, plus museum exhibits.
Quite a few people could be retained to help and advise. The domestic coal market has all but gone, in fact you could be in trouble for burning it.
The same applies to industry with so many restrictions in place regarding pollution of the atmosphere.

Hide AdIt is ideally situated being located so near to the Robin Hood Centre and fighting to keep it open is just a delaying exercise to what will happen.
