A THREE-day extravaganza is to take place at a Hucknall pub to raise cash as part of Macmillan Cancer Care’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The event starts at the Nabb Inn pub (pictured) on Nabbs Lane with a traditional coffee morning on Friday (September 30). There will also be a tombola and a cake stall.
But the action doesn’t stop there. For attractions will run throughout the weekend until Sunday evening (October 2).
Family discos, bouncy castles, stalls and a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, will complete the line-up.
Fundraising will be boosted further by the sale of Macmillan cookbooks and badges, plus a pay-to-enter colouring competition.
The pub ran a smaller event last year and raised more than £1,000 when combined with the efforts of a regular, who completed a charity firewalk. Assistant manager Kerry Chamberlain is confident they can break last year’s total.
