TWO Hucknall members of Notts County Council have retained key positions as part of a return to the committee system.
As reported in last week’s Dispatch, a decision has been made to ditch a previous Cabinet and leader structure, which had been in place for 12 years.
It means important decisions will be made collectively rather than by individuals and officers.
Conservatives COUN KEVIN ROSTANCE and COUN MICK MURPHY will take charge of two committees.
Coun Rostance will continue responsibility for adult social care and health, while Coun Murphy leads community safety.
