A FACEBOOK page packed with tributes has been set up in honour of a 22-year-old man killed in a crash on the Annesley bypass.
Jack Ashley (pictured) died when the Ford Focus ST170 he was in veered off the road and hit a tree just before midnight on Tuesday February 28.
A 22-year-old woman, who was also in the car, was taken to King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield with minor injuries and has since been discharged.
Mr Ashley’s tribute page on Facebook already has more than 700 members.
One post described him as a “legend”, while another said he would “live in our hearts forever”.
His parents, Paul and Dawn Ashley, say their son will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.
Investigations are continuing into the crash. Police believe a second vehicle, a silver Honda Civic Type-R, was involved.
Three men and a woman, all aged 23 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by damngerous driving. They have now been released on police bail.
