FORMER Hucknall Labour MP Paddy Tipping might not be involved in Parliament any more. But he is certainly keeping himself busy.
For he has landed two new jobs — as chairman of the Nottinghamshire Community Foundation (NCF) and as an ambassador for the energy company, E.ON.
Mr Tipping was MP for the Sherwood constituency, which includes Hucknall, for 18 years before standing down at the General Election in 2010.
NCF is an independent charity that distributes millions of pounds worth of grants to groups throughout Nottinghamshire. At E.ON, Mr Tipping says he will be involved in an initiative to “regain the trust of customers”.
