Hundreds of people enjoyed a family day out at the first of four Mansfield Summer Festival events.
Held at Carr Lane Park in Warsop on 29th July, it featured a whole host of activities and entertainment, from dancing dog displays and BMX riding to circus workshops and craft activities.
“It was great to see so many families enjoying their day out and taking part,” said coun Philip Shields, Portfolio Holder for the Environment.
Three other events will take place across the area, with the next in Mansfield town centre on Saturday 9th August from 10am to 3pm.
That will feature a mini Mansfield Museum with craft activities and industrial bingo, dog obedience training demonstrations, face painting and circus skills workshops.
Two further dates have been set for Thursday 14th August at King George V park off Black Scotch Lane, Mansfield and on Saturday 23th August at Chesterfield Road Park, next to the town’s civic centre.
